Ann Marie is currently an Associate Broker with Wright Home Realty Co. and also Owner/Baker of Wrapped In Dough Ann Marie’s Homemade Baklava. She is a lifelong Resident of Olean and a graduate of Olean High School, class of 1976. She has a BS in Health, Physical Education and Recreation from Slippery Rock State College.

After College Graduation, Ann Marie was a Substitute teacher for the Olean School District and coached OHS boys and girls Varsity Tennis for five years. Ann Marie became involved with the OHS Alumni Association in 1986. She was a past Board Member and President and has been the class of 76 Coordinator since 1985.

All three of Ann Marie’s sons attended OHS and participated in varsity swimming, football
and tennis. Her son, Ben, is currently coaching three varsity Sports at OHS. Ann Marie was also involved in the Olean Sports Booster Club during and after all three of her sons graduated. She was a board member and chairman of the Sports Endowment Raffle. She currently still volunteers to sell the tickets each year.

Ann Marie is committed to the City of Olean and the Olean School system. She has volunteered for many local fundraising events and graciously donates to many Olean community organizations.

 

Her awards and commitments are numerous:

• Two time Recipient of Marvin A Knittle YMCA Volunteer of the year.

• Current YMCA Board Member and Vice Chair of the Y Association Board

• Current Annual/Capital Campaign Community Chair for the YMCA

• Salute to Olean Award recipient

• YMCA Strong Kids Campaign Chair and Volunteer (raising over 1 .5 million)

• Zonta International and local Ccub member for over 30 years. Empowering women through service and advocacy. Past President and District Area Director

• Massabki Award for dedicated service to St Josephs Maronite Church - This award is bestowed on members of the apostolate who have contributed extraordinarily of their time, talent, and treasure on a parish, regional or national level.

• Olean Little League past Board Member, Vice President and Treasurer.

• Olean Alumni Association past President and Board Member.

• Class of 1976 Class Coordinator 

• Greater Olean Area Chamber of Commerce Membership Committee member and Events Volunteer

• Past Officer & Board Member and current Volunteer for the Olean Sports Booster Club
